OIL PAINTING & PASTEL workshop March 8 & April 13 $115.00 per class

Workshop day of:

The oil painting and pastel workshops will focus on values first, clean colors and purposeful light. The day will start in Angela Gelasi's, studio with a brief introduction, demonstration time and a short walk to a quiet retail area with vintage wares where you select your own in life subject matter to focus and paint. Angela will be teaching one on one with you throughout the day.

TEACHER:

Angela Gelasi was born being aware of the details in her surroundings, and how the light moves through out the day.

She has a traditional art background and through out her life has taken class after class from professional painters in their fields to hone her skills.

A consummate painter and pastellist who has life long art lessons to share and teach.

FOOD:

We will provide drinks and snacks throughout the day.

You will be responsible for your own lunch. Stanchon Pub is situated in the building

and provides good salads, burgers and fish on Fridays.

LOCATION:

The Starline Factory is a historic building, after being brought back to life, is home to many artist studios, multiple events spaces, retail antique/vintage store, and restaurant. This is where we will be spending the day!

Train: The class is 2 minute walking distance from METRA - Harvard station, an option if you don't want to drive.
